About 30 feet under what is now the Guildhaus Building on Vine Street are found these cellars. Once used for lagering beer for the John Kauffman Brewing Company, they now provide an interesting glimpse into Cincinnati’s once proud beer brewing industry. About the only way to see these cellars now is to participate in the yearly “Prohibition Resistance Tour” that occurs during the annual Bockfest.
UPDATE: Queen City Underground now offers tours every Saturday and Sunday from May through November.
